  • Navigate to the Processes tab and search for any .exec process in the list.

  • Select the process and click the End Task option to make the Windows installer available.

Once the Windows installer is lying idle, you need to delete the Entitlement.ecml file from your computer to recreate it when you run QuickBooks again. Use these steps-

  • Open the file explorer and navigate to C:\ProgramData\Intuit\EntitlementClient\v8 or v6.
